Early Spring Wildflowers

Local legend has it that Clara Ford loved the color blue – so she planted many of these lovely blue flowers in her garden. After she passed away, the blue flowers spread into the forest surrounding the Fairlane Estate, where they carpet the forest floor every spring. They are not native to Michigan – in fact, they originate from a place very far away! Can you name this flower?

Another lovely wildflower that has already been in bloom for a few weeks – Snow Drops!
