Yellow Trout Lily- much bigger than the white ones (which raised an interesting thought – what if the trout lilies I assume are albidum are actually propullans? I doubt it but just a thought.)

The Bloodroot’s flower appears for only one day before dropping its petals. An ephemeral flower.
